A friendly and interesting community choir for anyone who enjoys singing in harmony
You think you can't sing? Give it a go anyway, this is about bringing together adults from all backgrounds and nationalities to have fun singing together. We sing accessible unaccompanied harmony songs from around the world. No experience or training is needed, everything's taught by ear so you don't need to be able to read music. Anyone is welcome, there's no audition and no pressure.
We meet every Thursday at 7.30pm in Daisy Street. Join us!
OTHER SINGING OPPORTUNITIES LOCALLY
VoiceMale, a weekly drop-in session on harmony singing for men, takes place on Tuesdays at 7.45pm at "Finn's Place" (Langside Parish Church, 167 Ledard Rd G42 9QU). All sorts of harmony styles traditionally sung by men, just for fun, taught by ear. Give it a go!
Every first Friday of the month, you can sing shapenote ("Sacred Harp") music in Glasgow at an informal gathering known as the First Friday Sing run by Shapenote Scotland. There is also a Third Friday Sing in Edinburgh.
